🎓 Clipster EDSA Policy (Educational, Documentary, Scientific & Artistic Content)

(Axxoraa Pvt. Ltd.)

Clipster allows certain sensitive content when it is shared for a valid public interest purpose — such as Education, Documentary reporting, Scientific explanation, or Artistic expression (called EDSA content).

Sometimes, content that normally violates our policies may stay on Clipster only if strong, clear EDSA context is provided.

âš ī¸ Adding context does NOT guarantee approval.

We review each post individually.

✔ī¸ 1. How Clipster Reviews EDSA Content

We first check:

  1. Does the content break any Clipster Community Guidelines?

If yes → we move to step 2.

  1. Does the content include enough EDSA context?

We look at:

WHAT context is added

WHERE the context is added (video, audio, text on screen, description)

Only then we decide whether the content gets an EDSA exception.

📘 2. What Context You Should Add for EDSA Approval

🌟 A. Basic Facts About the Content (VERY IMPORTANT)

Explain clearly:

Who is involved

What is happening

When and where it happened

Why such sensitive scenes appear

Why you are showing it

✔ Examples More Likely to be Allowed:

Surgery videos with explanations

Documentary scenes showing violence but clearly explained

News reporting with proper context

❌ Examples Less Likely to Be Allowed:

Shocking titles (“Watch this!! 😱”)

Clips cut only to show nudity or injuries

Scenes taken out of context just for views

🌟 B. Condemnation, Opposing Views, or Satire

Add narration or text showing that the harmful claim is false, misleading, or opposed.

✔ Allowed Example:

A video includes a false statement but your content clearly states it is wrong, with facts or expert opinions.

❌ Not Allowed Example:

Posting a harmful or hateful statement without any correction, challenge, or criticism.

🌟 C. Discouraging Imitation (for dangerous or risky behavior)

If your content shows risky behavior, you must:

✔ Explain the dangers

✔ Warn users not to imitate

✔ Provide reasons why it is harmful

✔ Mention that trained professionals were involved (if applicable)

âš ī¸ Simply saying “don’t try this at home” is not enough.

đŸŽĨ 3. Where Context MUST Be Added

To qualify for EDSA:

✔ Add context in:

Video itself (text overlays)

Audio narration

Title

Description

❌ We do NOT accept context only in:

Comments

Tags

Channel bio

Pinned comments

For high-risk topics (violence, hate speech, suicide, self-harm, child safety), context must be inside the video or audio.

đŸšĢ 4. Content That Will Not Get an EDSA Exception (Always Removed)

Even with educational or documentary intent, Clipster will not allow:

Child sexual abuse material

Real sexual assault footage

Real decapitation acts

Graphic killings filmed by perpetrators

Content glorifying terror or criminal organizations

Instructions for suicide or self-harm

Instructions to make bombs or weapons

Selling weapons or illegal items

Hacking instructions intended to harm

Doxxing (revealing private personal data)

Hardcore pornography

Spam or harmful scams

No amount of EDSA context can allow this content.

🧭 5. Additional Notes

Clipster may still:

Age-restrict certain EDSA content

Show warnings before viewing

Limit visibility if content is disturbing

Public interest exceptions may be made for:

News reports

Humanitarian crisis documentation

Election reporting

Real educational/scientific journalism

🛡 6. Summary for Creators
