Introduction & Purpose

Clipster, operated by Axxoraa Private Limited ("we," "us," "our"), offers monetization features for eligible creators and sellers through the Clipster Store. This Monetization and Commission Policy ("Policy") outlines our commission structure, eligibility criteria, payout procedures, and fee schedule for sellers on our platform.

This Policy should be read in conjunction with:

Eligibility for Monetization

2.1 Who Can Monetize

Monetization features are available only to users who:

Are 18 years or older
Have created a Clipster Store
Have completed seller verification(including KYC where required)
Maintain compliance with all Clipster policies
Sell only physical products(digital goods are not permitted)
Have a valid Indian bank accountfor payouts

2.2 Ineligible Users

The following cannot monetize on Clipster:

Users under 18 years old
Users without a Clipster Store
Users with suspended or restricted accounts
Users violating Clipster Community Guidelines or Terms of Service
Sellers of prohibited items (weapons, drugs, adult content, digital goods, etc.)

Commission Structure

3.1 Special Launch Offer: First 100 Orders

To support our growing seller community, Clipster offers ZERO COMMISSION on the first 100 successful orders for each new seller.

Key Features of This Offer:

Commission Rate: 0% (no platform fees)
Order Count: First 100 completed orders
Eligibility: All new sellers upon store creation
Duration: Until 100th order is successfully delivered and return window expires
Applicable Fees: Only payment gateway charges apply (if any)

3.2 Standard Commission Rate

After the first 100 orders, Clipster charges a minimal 2% commission on all successful transactions.

Commission Breakdown:

Platform Commission: 2% of the order value (excluding shipping charges and taxes)
Payment Gateway Charges: As per payment provider rates (typically 1-2%)
GST on Commission: Applicable GST on our commission (18%)

3.3 What's Included in Commission

Our 2% commission covers:

Platform maintenance and development
Customer support for marketplace transactions
Seller tools and dashboard access
Order management system
Basic seller protection
Dispute resolution services

3.4 What's NOT Included in Commission

Additional charges that may apply:

Payment Gateway Fees: Charged by Razorpay/Stripe/UPI providers
Logistics Fees: Charged by Eshopbox (our logistics partner) for delivery
Return/Refund Processing: May incur additional charges for returns
Premium Features: Optional paid features (coming soon)

Fee-Free Period Details (First 100 Orders)

4.1 How It Works

Automatic Enrollment: All new sellers automatically qualify
Order Tracking: Dashboard shows "Orders Remaining: X/100"
Zero Commission: No platform fees deducted
Full Payout: Receive full order value (minus payment gateway fees)

4.2 Qualifying Orders

Only successful orders count toward the 100-order limit:

✅ Orders successfully delivered
✅ Return window expired (7 days passed)
✅ No disputes or chargebacks
❌ Cancelled orders do NOT count
❌ Returned/refunded orders do NOT count

4.3 Transition to Standard Commission

Order 101 onwards: 2% commission applies automatically
No action required: System automatically switches
Notification: Email and in-app notification before last free order

Additional Fees & Charges

5.1 Payment Gateway Fees

Credit/Debit Cards: 2% + GST
UPI: 1% + GST (if applicable)
Net Banking: 2% + GST
Cash on Delivery: 2% + GST (collection fee)

Note: Payment gateway fees are charged directly by payment providers and may vary.

5.2 Logistics Fees (Eshopbox)

Pickup & Delivery: As per Eshopbox rates (distance/weight based)
Cash Collection: Additional 2% for COD orders
Return Pickup: May be charged for buyer-initiated returns

5.3 Other Potential Charges

High-Risk Category Surcharge: Additional 1% for certain categories
International Shipping: Additional handling fees
Expedited Processing: Optional premium services

Payout Schedule & Process

6.1 Payout Timeline

Standard Payout: 7 days after successful delivery
Holding Period: For new sellers, first 5 orders held for 14 days
COD Orders: 7 days after cash collection by logistics partner
Weekly Settlements: Every Tuesday for previous week's orders

6.2 Payout Threshold

Minimum Payout: ₹500
Maximum Per Transaction: ₹1,00,000
Monthly Limit: No limit for verified sellers

6.3 Payout Method

Bank Transfer: NEFT/IMPS to registered Indian bank account
Processing Time: 1-3 business days
Payout Reports: Available in seller dashboard

6.4 Payout Deductions

Before payout, we deduct:

Platform commission (0% first 100 orders, 2% thereafter)
Payment gateway fees
GST on our commission
Refunds/returns from that period
Chargeback amounts
Any penalties or fines
Refunds & Returns Impact

7.1 Commission on Refunded Orders

Full Refund: No commission charged (if refunded before payout)
Partial Refund: Pro-rata commission adjustment
Already Paid Out: Deducted from future payouts

7.2 Return Processing Fees

Seller Fault Returns: No additional fee
Buyer's Remorse Returns: May incur return shipping charges
Fraudulent Returns: Investigation fee may apply

7.3 Chargeback Fees

Chargeback Received: ₹500 processing fee + order value
Successful Defense: Fee refunded
Multiple Chargebacks: Account review and possible suspension

Seller Responsibilities

8.1 Tax Compliance

GST Registered Sellers: Must provide GSTIN and charge appropriate GST
Non-GST Sellers: Responsible for local tax compliance
Invoice Generation: Sellers must provide proper invoices
Tax Documentation: Maintain records for 7+ years

8.2 Pricing Transparency

Display all-inclusive prices
Clearly mention any additional charges
No hidden fees allowed
Comply with Legal Metrology rules

8.3 Order Fulfillment

Ship within promised timeline
Maintain adequate inventory
Use approved packaging (Eshopbox guidelines)
Ensure product quality as described

Festival Discounts: Reduced commission during sales
Category Promotions: Specific product category incentives
Volume Discounts: Lower rates for high-volume sellers (500+ orders/month)

9.2 Special Categories

Handmade/Artisan: 1% commission (after first 100 orders)
Social Enterprises: Case-by-case exemptions
Educational Products: Special rates available

9.3 Loyalty Program (Coming Soon)

Tier 1 (1000+ orders): 1.5% commission
Tier 2 (5000+ orders): 1% commission
Tier 3 (10000+ orders): Custom negotiated rates

Dispute Resolution & Fraud Protection

10.1 Dispute Handling

Seller-Buyer Disputes: Clipster mediates, final decision binding
Commission Disputes: Reviewed within 7 business days
Escalation: To Grievance Officer if unresolved

10.2 Fraud Prevention

High-Risk Orders: May require additional verification
Suspicious Activity: Payouts held for investigation
Fraudulent Sellers: Commission forfeited + legal action

10.3 Seller Protection

Unauthorized Transactions: Protected up to ₹10,000
System Errors: Commission adjustments for technical issues
Policy Changes: 30-day notice for significant fee changes
